		<description>Some Perspective on Debt
One Trillion Dollars

If you borrowed $1 million per day, without interest, from the time of the founding of Rome &#8211;
roughly 2,700 years ago &#8211; until today, you would have accumulated
about $1 trillion in debt.

Canada is hovering around the four trillion dollars of debt.
(federal, provincial, corporate, personal)

If we could pay off one million dollars a day (which we can&#039;t),
we will be out of debt in only 11 thousand years.

The United States, at 55 trillion, if they stopped adding 2 million per minute
 .... 150 thousand years.
&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.usdebtclock.org/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;http://www.usdebtclock.org/&lt;/a&gt;

Thats the power of fractional banking.
