Netflix is a fantastic company. Here is my issue with the Takeover play: Microsoft may try to do the movie streaming alone first and wait until Netflix stock comes down from the highs. Google just announced a similar service through Youtube. The business model around renting or selling movies is not very attractive today and will get more competitive. Valuable retention tools (like movie rating history for users) are not worth the 2.3B market cap. Bottom line: the business model of movie delivery online can be replicated by Microsoft.
