VIDEO: McCain hates the pork – therefore he voted for it
October 2, 2008 11:59 pm
Senator McCain discusses the pork-barrel and the horrific politics that are has changed him and the Republican party. Somehow, while he wants to stop all of the bad, nasty-disgusting-port-barreled-earmarked and generally grotesque level of political cronyism.
He explains those as all of the reasons why he would veto this as President…so why then did he vote YEA on it? What I am missing…????
AND: Did we have to hear the Dwight D. Eisenhower story again? Did we have to hear the Dwight D. Eisenhower story again? Did we have to hear the Dwight D. Eisenhower story again?

I don’t get it.. He shouldn’t have voted for it and now is the perfect time for him to “make these names famous”.. ridiculous.. I don’t have anyone to vote for anymore…
This is why I can’t watch idiots like Joe or Bill. It’s all staged. Joe asks questions that John is all to happy to answer. And you want people to see this video? Why?
I can’t believe I strongly considered voting for this hypocrite. Obama and Biden certainly have their faults.
But going right into the election, he seems to think it is OK to blather on about how he is going to Veto pork-barrel projects and make people famous. Yet votes YES on this pork-barrel laden bill.
Couldn’t he have Voted yes, and then publish the names of the fellow Senators who added the pork. I’d like to start with both the Oregon senators who added the repeal of the .39 wooden arrow excise tax, so that their 3 House of Rep colleagues would vote for the plan. If he would do that, I would have faith in him for making the Porkers famous. As it stands, he seems to say whatever the conservatives want to get elected. Yet, continues lack any plan for doing so.
Maverick my ass. I thought Biden, put that Maverick label to rest in the Debate.
The Eisenhower quote is incorrect, yet he continues to use it. He did write two letters, yet the second WAS NOT regarding resignation. Ugg.
Why does the Rep Party continue to believe that tax cuts will lead to future prosperity? Big paychecks are earned by solving Big Problems. I am waiting to hear a plan to solve these big problems. Yet the plan remains, cut taxes so that we have more to spend.
