Excellent analysis of what seems to be quite obvious; COF should/must tank ! This pig is still wearing lipstick, and we can't figure out why ? Who is supporting this dog ? The stock price should be in the $30's at this point, with a southbound bias . Yet, COF falls very little of late, truly jaw-dropping ...
Let's hope this pig goes to slaughter where it belongs .

Oh, and a fantastic irony. When I was reading the article, one of the Google Adsense listings was for Capital One Credit Cards. Ha!

Andrew,
well analyzed. I have been buying and covering put spreads on COF since the beginning of February when it broke it's uptrend. I am actually quite surprised it has held the way it has. I went short again on 3.24.
The underlying tested it's end of January high. If this thing is going to break down it should do it off this shooting star (3.24).
If it doesn't, I will be perplexed and wait for another opportunity.

Indeed well timed entries on the short side have been profitable with the volatility over the past two months.

You offer very interesting insight to the divesting of shares by the insiders to coincide with the share buyback. A very interesting and ruthless possibility.

best regards,
Jon
