Mike and for those reading on the Provenge debacle who are not up-to-speed about alleged Conflict of Interests attributed to the veneral Dr. Howard Isadore Scher of Sloan-Kettering in NYC--the same person who sat in judgment at the Provenge FDA Advisory Committee meeting almost exactly a year ago... here's what's been found on the internet.

Remember, Scher attested to the FDA in writing that he had but 3 COI... 1 stock and 2 competing company interests.... and, pay particular attention to items #1 and #17!!!!!

Perhaps you could look into the COI's of Dr.'s Maha and Scher, a we bit more. Maybe you could let us know what happened w/ Dr. Scher's Novacea trials in regards to Asentar. I believe it was canceled because of a high rate of deaths. I enjoyed your interview w/ Mr. Huckman. Perhaps a little more insight into frequency of the FDA rejecting its own panel. Especially when the votes are 17-0 and 13-4. I look forward to your follow up story w/regards to Provenge.
