The core of your writing while sounding agreeable initially, did not really work well with me after some time. Someplace within the sentences you actually managed to make me a believer but only for a short while. I however have got a problem with your leaps in assumptions and one would do nicely to help fill in those gaps. When you actually can accomplish that, I could undoubtedly be amazed.

No doubt that this might increase Apple's market share, but there are much better ways to go about it. Best Buy is really a disaster when it comes to technology. Sure it's a great place to check out cool gadgets and have a try-before-you-buy experience, but a simple purchase has you swimming in offers to buy magazines, sign up for a card etc. Hopefully Apple said no to this nonsense, but I find that unlikely, unless they are really opening separate cash registers for Apple purchases.
